Today we turn to page 365 of 365. It is the last day of what has been a wonderful year. Today I find myself greatful to have gone through all the experiences that I have this year, both good and bad. I have managed to get three jobs, to successfully complete an UN rollplay and to preform in the school musical. I have also experienced an exchange with india, a visit from my loving american hostfamily in Sweden and a reunion with my missed American friends. Although, I have also experienced trying times- In school as well as in life in the bigger picture. With everyday that passes I am getting closer to the day where I have to make the decition about what I want my life to look like after high school. The possibilities are truly infinite, but I hope to have made my decition ahead of time so that I will know what direction to turn to after I have thrown up my graduation hat in the air. 

 

I know that what is coming will be the best year yet experienced in my life and I just can't wait to start working for my goals!

Igår ägnade jag min kväll till att se filmen "About time" tillsammans med några kompisar. Jag hade sett trailern och tyckte det verkade som en feel good film, men större förhoppningar än så hade jag inte. Historien i sig överväldigade mig inte, men filmens budskap bet sig fast hårdare än vad jag hade förväntat mig.

 

Gång på gång har vi hört citat som "lev varje dag som det vore din sista", "lev livet fullt ut" och "carpe diem". Jag anser att citatens populäritet gjort att de tappat sin mening till en vis del och ses nu som trendiga ordspråk istället för viktiga budskap. Citaten är i själva verket kärnan till ett lyckligt liv. Ni har nog alla hört någon närstående säga att livet är kort och att det svischar förbi än innan man hinner blinka. Det ligger något i det de säger. Naturvetenskapligt sätt har vi en begränsad livstid, men jag tror stenhårt på att vi kan ändra vår uppfattning om hur långt vårt liv är genom att berika det till max.

 

Det hänger på just vad citaten ovan säger. Njut av varje dag och lev fullt ut. Filmen "About time" handlade om möjligheten att spola tillbaka tiden och ändra händelser. Det gav karaktären alltså flera chanser att göra om samma händelse. Detta lämnade karaktären orädd att göra fel, och gav honom chansen att verkligen leva i stunden. Trots att, så vitt jag vet, resande i tiden är omöjligt för oss utanför tv rutan, så tycker jag upplägget går att använda i sitt eget liv. Lev och agera i varje stund som du spolat tillbaka tiden för att ändra ögonblicket till det bästa det kan bli. Bara det eliminerar rädslan för att göra bort sig, och livskvaliten ökar.

 

Du har ett liv, så se till att göra det bästa av det!

 

Vad innebär ett nytt år igentligen? Nya möjligheter, nya chanser, en möjlighet att glömma sina misstag och börja om? Jag tror det är induviduellt, men vad nyår har gemensamt hos oss alla är att på bara några timmar ger vi upp det gamla året och välkomnar det nya. 

Jag tycker det är något speciellt med nyår. Jag älskar det verkligen, det ger verkligen en känsla av pånyttfödelse och allt känns möjligt. Jag ser fram emot 2014, och kommer göra det till ett av de bästa i mitt liv!

Dagen har nu lidigt till sitt slut, och det är endast två dagar till nyår. Vilket år alltså, helt fantastiskt! Igår spenderade jag dagen i stan för att kompletera småsaker till nyår. Jag och mina vänner har nu även en klar meny till vår Nyårslunch som kommer ha premiär den 31:e. Looking forward to it!

Under de senaste månaderna har mitt intresse för skönhet vuxit. Jag vet inte vad som har flugit i mig, men är nu helt galen i allt som har med smink, naglar och hår att göra. Jag menar, sen när målar jag om mina naglar tre gånger om veckan? 

 

Senast jag klippte mig var i Juli strax efter att jag flyttade hem till Sverige igen. Det har växt en del sedan dess men det är verkligen dags att fräsha upp det snart igen. För övrigt klipper jag mig ofta inte mer än ungefär tre gånger om året, då jag anser att håret håller så pass bra i kvalitén att det inte behövs. Hur ofta klipper ni er?

 

Ojojoj, efter mitt år i USA så tappade jag bloggandet helt. Det är första gången på några år som det händer. Men nu har suget kommit tillbaka igen. Jag vet inte riktigt vad det beror på, men jag antar att jag helt enkelt är blogg typen av människa. Så utan att lova för mycket, så ser jag fram emot att se mer av er snart!

Off to my second grad party for the day and then futher on to a bonfire at sarah's. We gonna make some smores bro

This week have been simply amazing. It started of with monday at the beach in Jersey. Then tueday started with senior breakfast, followed by yearbook distribution. Wednesday started with a reharsal for graduation in the auditorium in case of bad weather. We got our caps and gowns and it was such a great time. We also took the senior class picture that day in the stadium. Thursday we were told to get dressed in our white graduation dresses and bring our caps and gowns with us. We all gatherd up in the gym and took a bunch of pictures. Then we walked over to the auditorium where the senior awards ceremoni was held. It was quite fun. Afterwards they gave us snacks in the LGI. It was such a good time. By then, it was around 10.30 and pretty much every parent signed out their students so they could leave if they wanted to. Which we did. We went for lunch and then over to Rita's for dessert. Sarah and I later hung out and decided to jump into the hot tub even though it was raining pretty heavy. It was such a great day. Today friday was the only day we did not have any special senior activities. I took my english final, but other then that, the day was just like any other. Around 4 me and Sarah decided to go to the movies and see "now you see me" which started at 4.30... So there we were, rushing to the theater, and even though we walk in 15 minutes late to the theather, it is just in time for the movie to start. It was so perfect. I liked the movie alot. It was a little confusing, but reallt cool. And now I'm home. I was gonna go sleepover at Rayne's, but some things might have come up in the way. But it's only 8.03 now, so the night is still young. We just have to wait and see what happens.

 

Tomorrow I'm starting my day off packing. Not that fun, but it has to be done. Then around 2 me and Maddie are going to Nicole's graduation party which I am so hyped for. Later tomorrow we will hopefully have a bonfire at Maddie's to. Gosh, it is going to be a perfect weekend.

 

And you know what? It is, today, exacly 5 days till my loving family arrives in the states. I can not believe it. Life is to good to be true sometimes. 

Good morning! Im off to school in 10 minutes, it's cloudy, but HUMID outside. Pretty much what the weather is going to be like all week. Our pool is open now so I can't wait for the sun to warm it up a little, before it is time for my first swim. This week is only a four day school week for us, because this weekend is memorial weekend, which is a holiday in America where you remember soldiers that fought in wars. So we are off both friday and monday. Yey!

Just came home from my second prom. This one was West Chester Rustin's senior prom, and I went with another exchange student. We had a great time. It was in downtown philly, which, was so cool. The food was great and so was the music. So I had a great night.

Hi! I know that I have been quite bad at updating lately. Anyway, as I wrote last week, prom was on saturday. It was so much fun!! I wish I could rewind time, so I could redo it all. Haha!

So yesterday me and Emma got our nails done together. I got french manicure as I said before. Today after school me and Austin went and picked up the flowers for tomorrow. Later my hostfamily and I went out for dinner at a new place, which was really nice. I'm stuffed now though...

Tomorrow is prom. Yey! My plan is to go up in time, but still sleep so I feel energised when I wake up (we don't want those bags under our eyes, am I right?), then start with a shower, and all that jazz. After fixing all, I also need to pack a bag for postprom at Taylor's. Gosh, tomorrow is going to be such a great day.

Good Morning people. Any minute now I'm off to school. I have gym first period today and it's pretty cold outside, so I better bring a sweatshirt or something. They have been selling tickets to prom at lunch everyday this week, so I'm going to buy one today before it is to late. I'm so excited, prom is only two weeks away! Yey! After school today I'm getting my dress altered also. It is all coming together now...wiiie!

So today me and my hostmom went out to run some errends. We had a lot of fun and stopped at the drafting room for lunch. I ate what was called "the warm goat cheese salad", which was amazing (as you can see on the picture below). We went to Kohls, famous footwear, ulta etc. We had a great time as usual!
